BCM 400 & Hunt group

Have a BCM400 3.6 I want to send the night ans to a hunt group. Is that possible?

Yes, just add the DN of the Hunt group into your service mode or CCR path.

The ring group will not accept the HG dn? Any ideas?

If you are using a Service mode as night answering to a ring group then NO you cant use a hunt group Dn.

The Alternative is to assign the Voicemail DN (Press F985)334 to the ring group as the only member.
Then create a home transfer node (ccr tree 1) and assign the hunt group DN(461) as the transfer extn.
then allocate the ccr tree 1 to a table 1.

So when the Night Service is switched on it rings the Voicemail DN which inturn will be answered by AA Table.
This will then transfer to the Huntgroup.

Why using a hunt group? Use the ring group instead, put all you members in that ring group and assign your night mode to it.

All the phones they want in the na have mbxs and they don't want the calls to go to mbxs. Make sense?

Make sense, Don't know your bcm's version but have you think of using the park&page feature instead?
Many customers like that option for night calls.
