Customer has 3 different DIDs that need to ring one phone. What is the best way to set this up so that they can visibly see what line is ringing when called and be able to get more than one call for each one as well? I was told if you just made them ring only, it would never hunt to voicemail if, say, two calls were actvie at same time and 3rd one came through. Is there a way to set it up to have one DID appearance of each and have it jump to the intercom path when answered, so that another call on that DID can ring through? Thanks!

you could give them a 3rd intercom key. Or if you have 6 free keys put 2 apearances of each line on the phone.

2 of the DIDs go to that person'a mailbox and the third is a target line that will appear on a bunch of phones that rolls to aut o attendant. My goal was to not load the phone up with a bunch of DID keys and intercom keys...If I give the phone 3 intercom keys and make these all ring only, are there any issues with DIDs rolling to voicemail, etc?

you would have to have the AA answer before the number of rings that the phone is fowarded to mail. for example, if the phone is set to FNA at 4 rings you would have to have AA answer the target line (DID) in question at 3 rings.

In that case then I would setup with 3 or 4 intercom keys depending on the amount of call volume that is expected and do Ring Only on the 3 DID's. But like Bomb said make sure the one that is being answered by the AA is offset on the rings.

I would put 3 Target line App of each DID you want to be on that phone, that way you could answer up to 3 calls on each DID.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
