I'm trying to figure out how to route calls using one destination code
I built 2 routes
route 2 POTS
route 3 PRI
Destination code of 9
Night First route 2 Second route 3
all the sets are using Night filter (default)
I would like all long distance to use route 3 and local route 2

not sure what I need to do next under the filter to accomplish this

thanks for any insight!

It's only dialtone-VZ

You need more than destination code .It will need to be broke down to 9+1 use route 3 and 9 any out route 2.

Access Code

91A route 3
92A route 2
93A route 2
94A route 2
95A route 2
96A route 2
97A route 2
98A route 2
99A route 2

Might want to route 911 out the POTS lines in case the PRI ever goes south.

If they dial 9911 in my port above it will go out COT. if they dial 911 it won't go anywhere.

ANYONE SEE A RED LIGHT ON THE FIRST LED WHICH IS THE POWER LED ON A BCM 400 4.0 EVERYTHING SEEMED NORMAL PROGRAMMED UP FINE, BUT I KNOW THE LED SHOULD BE GREEN ANY INSIGHT?

Acewarlock:
I don't know how it is everywhere, but we are required by law to build routing to allow the customer to pick up their sets and dial 911 and reach emergency services.

I first build the specific 911 destination code with 0 absorbtion and point it to the correct route. I then build the less specific destination codes after.

Normally if I'm routing out using only 1 route I build

911 absorb 0
91a absorb 1
9a absorb 1

The power and status LED's on the BCM 400 4.0 are the same as on a BCM 50.Alarm-status
