Hello,

Strange issue happening, I'm trying to forward an extension to an external number but when I dial that extension I get a "Call cannot be completed as dialed" message. I check out the number in the BCM Monitor and it's exactly as it needs to be. I have "Allow Redirect" turned on as well as destination code set to 9. Tried to forward to multiple numbers. Any ideas?
 
Sorry forgot to mention, if I dial this extension within the office the redirect works. It's when an outside caller calls the DID, he then gets that message.
 
It's because the carrier is seeing the caller ID of the person making the call and they reject it.
 
Try changing the OLI on the phone to the user's DID if it is set to send the main number. Ofter the carrier will reject if you're sending the BTN and redirecting back out the same PRI. They see this as number-spoofing and a potential service hack. You can probably convince them to disable the security feature.
