Team how can i delete logs from BCM400 4.0 in order to free disk space?
I have CC and RCC running and i got error that the system is reaching it's storage capacity while nobody is using voicemail and all mailboxes are emply so i believe it is CDR and log files.

thanks
Nikos

One way is to load/use CDR Client...when you PULL there is an option to delete files after you have downloaded them.

CDR is info i need as BCM runs Call center so i need them for RCC historical reporting, How can i delete only logs?

I dont follow you sorry

CDR is a program that deciphers or fetches logs.
Log files hold the info

What is it you think that the log files contain that you want to delete? maybe they will be elsewhere.

If you schedule regular BCM backups, then the CDR data is stored (unless deleted on the system) in the backup file and can be accessed using a zip program such as WinRar etc.

You can keep old backups that will retain the CDR data.

OK i have regular backups, can i go to a clean 4.0 system restore the backup so it will bring in all the CDR and then run a fresh RCC install and download all the past calls so the RCC can report past call center calls?

What you can do is to do a restore from an old backup and ONLY select the CDR data as this will not reboot the BCM system and all of the old CDR data will be put back in again.

Generally speaking, the BCM backup file size is only different by the amount of CDR data that it has.

You may actually have a failing hard drive. HD space disappears as more bad sectors occur. If you reboot the system it run a CHKDSK (or whatever the LINUX version is). Watch it with a monitor.
