I have a customer that I tried to sell desktop faxing to 3 years ago for their BCM, using try-n-buy. Now, suddenly they are interested in it. I have found resellers where I can get the faxing software and the unified msg software, but I am still skeptical because the customer has Windows 7 and think there are compatibility issues.
A crazy idea came to me and I want to throw it out there. It seems to me that I could network a new BCM50 with the desktop faxing software and redirect the correct target lines from the BCM400 to the call pilot DNs on the BCM50 and let it handle the fax delivery to the customers outlook mailbox. Any ideas?
