bcm 400 3.7

have a bcm 400 3.7 in office with a dsm 32+ and a gatm 8
occasionally i get a orange blinking status light on the gatm8
(but sometimes green light )
but have no lines , i pop out the card (with system power up)
plug it back in ,the sets reboot(lcd's flash) then the lines work,do a reboot of system ,and have to pop out the card again to get it to work

is my gatm 8 fubared or what

dip switches are set correctly as is the dsm,as they do work until a reboot

The 3.7 NT4 systems were always a pain to deal with. I used to go into mntce and schedule a weekly reboot at night because some of my customers used to get odd problems such as yours or the IP link, Call Pilot failing etc.

I know it's not an ideal solution, but most of my sites were fully patched up and I rarely got any hassle afterwards.
Also best to check that your BCM is clean from muck both outside and inside!.

U should never pull or install cards when the system is powered up.
