I'm having an issue getting a BCM 400 3.7 to join a Windows 2000 domain. I keep getting an error that the domain controller cannot be found.

Has anyone seen this or have any idea of what the issue might be? I appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Everyone I know that has used Domain, could no longer access the BCM and had to re-INI the system and remove the Domain name.

OK, but in order to use TAPIT they say that it needs to be in the domain. Is there a way around that?

You can use machine name (if the clients are on the same LAN) or IP address. Domain/user account worked for me once when the BCM wasn't on the domain. The domain part I believe has disappeared with BCM 4.0.

Try it without the BCM on the domain first - as acewarlock mentioned, putting a BCM on a domain doesn't have a good track record.

Thanks Biv, but I tried both the machine name and the IP address with TAPIT and it doesn't work. The wierd part is that I can ping back and forth between the BCM and the PC with the TAPIT installed using both the IP addresses and the machine name. It seems to me like it should work, but I can't get the CDR data in TAPIT no matter what.

I'm assuming you have the licensing for LAN CTE on the BCM?
