I am new to managing phone switches and I am trying to find out if there is a way to output some information from the BCM that provides : extensions, routing, ports, etc. One of the main things I am trying to figure out is my main phone number (ext 9664) routes in to a phone at the front desk and at 21:00 it routes to a different extension. I need to change the after hours extension, but i can't find anywhere in unified manager that shows me how it routes.

As a side note, we are upgrading the system in the next 60-90 days so this information will be very helpful. Thanks!

It sounds as if the routing is taking place within Call Pilot. Access that to trace the line access data. It should lead to a TOD table.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Log in with Element Manager.

In Telephony, Sets, select Active Sets so it is highlighted.

At the top of the BEM window where it shows File, Edit, View, etc select the Session Drop down menu.

Select Save Programming Record.

Select Save Selected Data.

The report will take about 45 minutes to run and BEM wont be available until it is complete. That data can then be imported into excel for easy manipulation.

Hope this helps.

Unfortunately that method only works on bcm50, bcm 4.0, bcm 450.
The 3.0 to 3.7 cant do that..

That would be correct sir. And I hate when people respond and don't fully read my post first. And there I go doing it myself.

btw..stop working on a holiday!

ok, thank you all for your help! i was afraid that i was going to end up having to manually do it.

If it were me I would upgrade that system while you still can to R6.

For the 2100 ring to other phones look at ringing service it is set to auto on a timer.
