Anyone no of any issues with the 3.6 and PRI. Have a customer that just installed a PRI circuit and like once a day it just resets itself. The carrier says that the BCM just drops the circuit by itself. Is this something the the Cumulative Patch might take care of.

There was a few faulty DTMs going about have you tried changing the module. There was also a patch regarding line locking up.I would try the patch first and then replacing the module. Have you set your clocking source to primary?

Yes clock source is primary. Was that patch a part of the BCM 3.6 Cumulative Patch that they put out because I have that (not installed yet). I just don't remember what all that was suppose to address.

You can also try reseating your DTM in it's slot. If that fails, try moving it to another slot. I have several BCM's in place with a suspected backplane problem.

I have a BCM 200 that I installed 4 days ago and the DTM keeps shutting it self down. the only light that stays on is the green power light, everything else is off. I'm send a new Modual overnight but i'm having the user swap slots on the DTM and DSM to see if that makes a difference.

I know that DTM with date codes between 11/22/04 - 1/7/2005. They had issues.

I had 2 new 400's in my prestaging area. I could not physically install a particular DTM in the upper MBM in one of the chassis, and had to exert more than normal force to instert in the bottom MBM slot.

I took that same DTM and had no trouble inserting it into any MBM slot in my other 400 chassis. I then retried with another new DTM module in the 1st chassis, and had no problem installing it in any slot. Had no problem installing it in any slot of the 2nd chassis.

Both units are now in service. I am praying a lot that they don't develop the same issues as the ones I referenced a couple of posts back. This is not an official problem yet, but some people that I have spoken with say that there are a small number (and growing I would conclude) of units with backplane issues. Maybe this is the leading edge of a new Q.C. issue?
