I was trying to add VM to an extension in Call Pilot manager and everything seems normal and I hit submit but the mailbox never appears. I tried using the add user wizzard and ran through the normal process as well. When it completed the error log stated that the Vm box already existed. Is there another way to view the mail box and remove so that I can try again. When I do F981 from the ext I get the Log prompt so I know the system doesn't think that extension has VM.
Thanks

You should be able to see all the Vmail that exisit.

What do you mean the Log prompt??

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

By the log prompt I mean that when you do a F981 to access your vm from your phone you normally are asked for your password unless you don't have a vm box assigned to that ext or you press * I think it is then you get the log prompt where you can type your mailbox number and password followed by the # to get access you another mailbox. When I go to the call pilot manager screen and go to the mailbox administration screen I see all my assigned vm boxes but the one I am referring to. But trying to add this vm box it appears to go through the motions as normal but the mailbox never appears. Like I said in my original post I then tried the add a user wizard and got an error stating the mailbox already exist. There lies the problem, I can't access that vm box nor does it appear on my management screens or reports.

Do you have enough Vmail Keycodes????

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

The first screen where you start to add a Vmail tells you how many Vmail boxs you have left.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I've run into that before and had to remove the keycodes, reboot, reinstall the keycodes, reboot, then everything was back to normal.

In my case it was corruption in the Call Pilot Database so i had to reinstall the call pilot (f982 option 1)and reprogram by hand all my mailboxes, gladly i had about 30 mailboxes so it didnt take too long..
