BCM 400 3.6 can't connect via HTML can ping and get in via monitor 2

I am working on a BCM 400 3.6, all LED's were flashing green, we replaced the HD. We used a nulmodem cable to connect and do a universal profile on the drive, profile complete, changed IP addresses on LAN 1 & 2. Unable to log in via browser, pinging the unit get replies. We can log in using BCM monitor no problem. Rebooted the unit now we cant get in using the serial port. F981 logs us in a VM, but can't get in with default password. Tried F983 just in case the drive was somehow 4.0, we get feature inactive.
The Tray has blue caps and they look ok, I guess the next move will be to replace the board,any ideas? have we missed any obvious steps?

LED status:
1 Power LED green
2 HD LED a little flashing green
3 system status green
4 msc green
5 WAN off
6 Modem off
7 NIC 1 on
8 NIC 2 on

O.K. let's think this thru a little better. You said that you replaced the drive which would mean that you no longer have any key codes or mail programming.Doing a feature 981 only proves that the Voicemail service is up & running.
It is a new hard drive without key codes so any old passwords are long gone & hiding in your old drive that you replaced. Was the new drive a 3.6 Image & what user & password are you using to try & log in with?

Sorry Shadow but you had me confused with the feature 981 & default password stuff. I'll stay out of this one. Good luck with the patches. If it is a newly imaged 3.7 drive I hope they rolled the clock back a year or so before they imaged it.
