I have a BCM 400 which shows a red/green blinking Status light on the Dupli-Disk II card, both Primary and Secondary lights are green. Both Maxtor drives tested externally show no errors with Maxtor Powermax utility and when on, phones ring through to the extensions, but no Voicemail, VOIP, network connectivity nor serial port access is possible. Any suggestions of something I can check out?

When you can shut the BCM down and pull out the Base Function Tray and look at the capacitors. If they are green check your part number against Nortel's bulletin 2005006321.

Thanks for the tip, my unit NA BCM 3.5 BCM400 Redundancy NT7B10AAEE A0510881 is listed in that bulletin. I will check it out after business hours today, but thanks for the quick reply.

For the record, opening the BCM showed the capacitors bulging and leaking. My Nortel rep was able to order a board for next day (other sources note six-week backlog).

Thanks too to the previous post at thread1361-1217779 with the except of the Nortel Bulletin - it made my time and materials contract call well under my 2 hour minimum.
