BCM 400 ÀSM8+ stopped vworking. Yellow flashing light on mbm

I have a b c m 400 release 4.0 wirh a ASM8+ media bay module on bus number 7 that stopped working suddenly. The Power light is green and the status light is flashing yellow on the media. bay a module. I have rebooted the system in reseated the media bay module and no change still does not work. All 08 ports have no dial tone. Sound like a bad card?

For what it's worth, out of the 400 I&M manual:

Power Status Description
Off Off The MBM does not have power, or there is a failure of the MBM power converter.

On Off BCM to expansion unit failure or system initialization.

On Blinking Hardware is working, but there is an operational problem such as:
• no link to main unit is detected
• frame alignment is lost on messages from the main unit
• bandwidth not allocated
• MBM is in maintenance state
• MBM is in download state (GASM, GATM4/GATM8)

Blinking Blinking The MBM has power, but there is a hardware problem such as:
• partial failure of power converter
• thermal overload
• fan failure

On On The MBM is ready to operate.

I'll try to reset the mbm again and the system. If that still doersny work Ill replace it.

How did a ASM+ end up in bus 7?

Why not? Are you thinking about an 8X16 moodule perhaps?

A GSM8 is perfectly legit on bus 7 in a 2/6 split system.

Although, it does raise the question, did someone change it to a 3/5 ssplit without thinking?
