BCM 4.0 WLAN 2245 and 2210 2

I'm Lost. Nortel AP 2230 connected to Nortel 470 switch, WLAN 2245 connected to switch, WLAN Handset 2210. Read other posts and I think I have the handset right. The error code now is No SVP Response.
I'm not sure how to tell what, if any, by default the ip address of the ap is. I don't see an SSID with my laptop.
The BCM is 10.10.11.1, switch 11.2, 2245 11.3, alias starts at 50, phone is static 11.30.

Found my own solution

The 2330 access point is not compatible with the 2245 ip manager as noted below.



AP technical specifications

This appendix lists the technical specifications for the Nortel AP-2330/2330A/2330B access points. Table 6 lists the

mechanical and compliance specifications. Table 7 on page 110, Table 8 on page 111, and Table 9 on page 111 list the

radio specifications. Table 10 on page 112 lists the MAC address allocation scheme.

Note. The AP-2330, AP-2330A, and AP-2330B access points are designed and

approved to be used only with Nortel WLAN—Security Switch (WSS) models 2360/2361,

and 2350. (The 2380 does not directly connect to the AP.)

It's not an issue with the 2330 not being compatible with the 2245. The 2245 is a proxy between the wireless phones and the BCM/Call Server and is required for the WLAN handsets 221X regardless of the access points/wireless gear you use.

The Business Access Point 120s are standalone APs if you still need something. The 2330 APs are 'dumb' and don't do anything without a controller, either 2350/60/80.
