What is the messaging client they are using?
This is from BCM50 Rel3 userguide
The groupware e-mail clients that are supported are:
• Lotus Notes - 6.0, 6.5, 7.0
• Novell GroupWise - 6.5, 7.0, 7.0.1
• Microsoft Outlook - 2000, 2002 (XP), 2003, 2007
As per bulletin 2007007681, Rev 2 - BCM40 UM will work with Outlook 2007

Running Outlook on a Vista PC
not sure what the email server is running
but seems to have an issue installing on the vista user PC
I'm installing the desktop patch this minute to see if it helps. (jees that's a big file to download Takes forever)
