BCM 4.0 unable to complete backup IVR not restarting

I have just recently completed upgrade to BCM 4.0 and everything is working fine with the exception of doing a backup. I do not have IVR and have unchecked the boxes in the backup option. The Backup starts and then shuts IVR and gathers data for it--then trys to restart IVR which does not work. The backup eventually gives up starting IVR.
What can I do to correct this problem.

Did you delete any log files on the drives? back and restore are looking for the files and if they cannot see these files back up will fail

I did not delete any files. I did a restore of IVR from original backup performed and it corrected the problem. Don't know what happened but it is working now.
