BCM 4.0 strange issue

Customer had a BCM400 3.6 that we inherited. The VM was down so I went out and seen that the BFT needed replaced. Replaced the BFT and then found out that the HDD was corrupt. Replaced the HDD with a 4.0 and had Nortel to force an MSC upload and all was well. Before we upgraded them to 4.0 they had an issue where the intercom lights would light up and flash one by one. In other words it would start with the bottom - begin flashing and then keep going up through all the intercom buttons. If you looked at the phone, all 4 intercom would be flashing. This would occur on 1 phone then another and so on until all phones would have their intercom buttons flashing. Now this is happening again at 4.0. Could this be that the MSC needs replaced? It is current on all updates.

There is an issue with Hunt groups causing the intercom keys of members to lock up under certian call conditions.

But the usuall cure is to apply all the latest patches.
 
They are not using hunt groups and it has the latest updates.
