How can I have an analog station (Polycom) setup a multiple party conference (more than 3 people)? I can't set more than 2 intercom ports...

It seems unlikely, but I could be wrong. The BCM 4.0 documentation shows how to use AD-Hoc conference on Digital Sets, and not on conference phones or analog phones. You can possibly get a digital phone, get that phone to setup the conference, and make use of the Ad-Hoc mode.

I have not tried it, but if it works, let us know.

I always tell my customers to set up the conference on a digital phone, park it, then pick it up on the polycom. It's so much easier.

What confuses most people is Terminogoly, The Analog Polycom is a Conference Room Phone more than it is a Conference Phone. I tend to think of a Conference Phone as a phone that I can conference 6 or more Internal and External phones. I guess you will need to do as bulemr2 said to do.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
