BCM 4.0 losing programming

I had a customer with a BCM 400 4.0 lose extension number programming this morning. They think they had a power outage on the weekend. The strange thing was the only thing that lost programming was the extension numbers. The went back to a default range of 3000 and up. All the button programming was still there as well as the names on the extensions. They have recently applied the most recent patches at the time which were System 17 and desktop 12.Any ideas.

don't know exactly what the cause is, but I recently had a system that lost all target line programming. The prime sets were correct and the received digits were still there, but their assigned dn's were all gone. No lines rang any phones. I had to reprogram. This happened after a power outage also.
