Can anyone tell me what this error means? It came up as a critical alarm. It first happened at 7am then 3 times at 10:15am. As far as I know, no phones were down.

Alarm: Log event 247 00 D4 02 32 00 0E 00 02 00 0C 00 01 2C 44 34 2C 32 33 32 2C 45 2C 32 2C 43 2C 31

VERIFY THAT ATTACHED SETS/PERIPHERAL PORT <FIELDS 1-2> OF BUS <FIELDS 7-8> INITIALIZE AND FUNCTION.

No. Brand new BCM 4.0 install. Loaded the latest SU patch that was available at the time of installation plus a few others. Alarm showed as a critical alarm but no one complained that phones (tdm) were down or that the PRI was down.

Basically wondering if this is pointing to something that could become a service affecting issue.

I had same errors on a brand new install just two weeks ago....All latest patches installed. I believe it was from unplugging the last phone from any given dsm and the system would think that the modual was down and spit out that error.

Hmmm...I guess we'll see a patch soon.

Thx

If the last phone on a module was unplugged you will also see ALARM 50.
This has been on all bcm versions.
As Derry163 says it just means the last physical phone has been unplugged from the module in question.

EG: a 16 port module with only 1 phone connected and this phone was unplugged the system will generate an Alarm50 to say it can not see any devices plugged into the module.
