BCM 4.0 Cannot connect to cc

This is a functional 4.0 that has patches applied that has been running for a while but suddenly stopped a few days ago. The BCM and the Reporting Server have both been restarted. The Reporting software has been taken off of the PC, the PC restarted and the software reloaded. No difference? Pinging has been tested to both the PC and the BCM. ???

Any ideas or has someone seen this before?

The first question I have is if the BCM 400 system is working OK?. Calls in and out etc. If so, can you log into it via Element Manager?. Within Element Manager, under Admin and Utilities (I think?) can you ping other computers on the customers network or the RCC Server?.

Likewise with the RCC Server. Can you ping other devices as well as the BCM. I think the last desktop update was 020. Was this installed?. If so, have you run the verification utility?.

Everything works as far as logging into either the Element Manager or t RCC Server. Pinging both devices are accessaible from the network. Verification utility checks all and says all is good except fo the very last line the comes up "Cannot connect to cc"

The hard drive is fine all call processing works including queues, etc.

Now that you told me the last part on the verification utility checks, have you got any issues with the password encryption?. I had a case almost the same as yours two weeks ago and it was a problem in the SQL database that needed looking at.
