Good day all.
I'm trying to finesse routing on a BCM 4.0 (SU14 latest patch)to allow calls to an extension at another site to fail to the other site's main PSTN number if all VoIP trunks are busy.
I know about building a routing service etc. The issue is when I attempt to add alternate routes under the VoIP schedule for a destination code, the absorbed digits field is greyed out and set to all. For ex:
Normal sched:
9A = Rt 1 Abs 1 (Rt 1 = BlocA (PRI) type Public)
Under VoIP sched, I can only end up with 9A Rt 1 Abs ALL, so if I activate the schedule, the users can't dial out.
Here are my normal dest codes (all work):
2A = Rt 2 abs 0 (IP pool, type private)
911 = Rt 1 abs 0 (BlocA type public)
91A = Rt 1 abs 1
9A = Rt 1 abs 1
What I want to achieve is for 2A:
First choice Rt 2 abs 0
Second choice Rt 3 abs 4 inst 1NPANXXABCD
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
