Is anybody else experiencing issues with running the BRU on 3.x systems? Seems for e that backups on the BCM 3.x platform no longer work; whether its via FTP, Network Share, etc.. Even a newly imaged drive and all patches applied are not working and haven't been for a couple of years now..

Wondering if this is a "date" issue, similar to the re-image of the hard drive and needing to run the Apache fix patch.

I am not new to this, and have been doing this for a very long time. Seems FTP was the easiest way in the past.. But now, nada - zip - zilch.. Nothing is working..

When was the last time you successfully ran a backup via BRU on a 3.x system?

Looking forward to the replies..

Recently did a backup last week on a BCXM400 Rel 3.7 to a network share on my laptop.

Is your Java up to date?

I admit its been a while since I've scheduled a backup on a 3.X system. I used to back them up to E: when all else failed. I'd then copy the e:\backup folder to the ftproot folder, start the msftp service via DOS CLI then download the files from the BCM using WinSCP or another FTP client.

It wasn't elegant by any means, but if I had a system with one foot in the grave any backup was better than no backup.
