bcm 3.7 with 2 VOIP phones

i have a bcm 400w/3.7 one remote site with the two ip phones dsl on both sites 1G vpn customer complaints about sometimes not hearing it cuts out but does not loose connection , i change the codec setting to a 711ulaw is their anything else i can look at. Please help

Sounds like packet loss/latency/jitter over your DSL link. Unfortunately there is no QOS over the Internet/DSL.

G.729 uses less bandwidth than G.711 - that might be a place to start.
