Working on a BCM 400 3.7
Network guy had us change the IP address, mask & gateway.
(IP from 192.168.10.245 to 10.20.1.250, mask from 255.255.255.0 to 255.255.0.0.)

Now the IP sets are not coming back up. Display reads: Connecting to S1 - then - Server unreachable.

Any suggestions?

I already changed the IP address & mask in the Networking Settings. And then rebooted the system.

Is there another area I need to look at? Should DHCP be turned on??

Thanks for your help.

I haven't installed any, but don't you have to tell the phone where to look? Programming on the phone itself.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Can someone tell me how to do that? I'm a basic Norstar tech, who got pulled in on this BCM.

Thks.

Nevermind. I found how to log into the phone and change the IP address from there.

Thx.
