I have a customer with a BCM 3.7 that wants callers that "0" out to be forwarded to an external number. I have tried building a destination code and defining that as the operator in voicemail but the calls keep getting sent to the General Mailbox. Any ideas would be appreciated.

you have to allow the voicemail application DNs access to the line pool you want the calls to go out on and in the vm you have to set up how they will go out. If you have a PRI. then you have to set it up to route out instead of just assigning a line pool. Have a look in the user's profiles, you'll figure it out.

Do you have any analog ports? you could have 0 go to an extension on an analog port, and have it forwarded to an outside #, or even if you have a digital phone in a place not used much, PBX room or something, have 0 go to it. Not sure if you can make 0 go directly out of voice mail, even if you give the application dn's access to outside lines. you can make a ccr tree path go out, but im pretty sure 0 will need to go to a DN.
