After a power outage last night, a customer lost his BCM voice-mail config. All other functions including auto attendant working fine. None of the current subscribers can get to their voicemail boxes. When trying to leave one, you are sent to General Delivery mailbox. System still shows keycode authorized and 9 subsribers left. Not trying to recover the lost config nor recover any lost voicemials, but trying to reinitialize mailboxes. When he tries to reinitialize a mailbox again through Callpilot manager, after finishing the entry, it takes him to main menu again. He can enter a NEW one however without problems (phone that didnt have a voicemail prior to the outage). Anyone seen this before? Any fixes out there? This is a BCM400 build 2.4F. Not sure if properly patched at this point. Any direction/things to look at would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What happens when you delete the existing mailbox and then add it back as new?

The mailbox doesnt appear enough to even be deleted.
After a mailbox that had formerly been present is entered, it goes back to main menu and doesn't keep the mailbox just entered.

Are you accessing the Call Pilot through your browser?
I haven't had this trouble happen to me, but since you said that you can build a new box, you might be able to delete the existing boxes through your GUI interface.

Looks to me like corruption, since your're still able to access the call pilot, retrieve all your auto-attendant
config, all the greetings and re-initialize your call pilot.
I don't think any patches would fix corruption.

If a reinstall of the callpilot doesn't fix it, deleting and re-entering the keycodes will most likely fix the issue. This could be either a corrupted mail database or corrupted keycodes, one of the two.

We re-initialized Callpilot through the telset (Feature 982) and at first I thought we were hosed. It took forever and never left the "resetting" status. After awhile of waiting (probably 15-20 minutes)we rebooted the BCM and it finally took.
We can not enter mailboxes again, and we should be good to go.
The power hit caused some major corruption on the Callpilot config/Db apparently ...fortunately the hardware was good (we tested the HD from serial console prior to the vm re-initialization and all checked out OK )
Thanks for your assistance guys.
