I have A question about phone networking the BCM 3.6.
I currently have a network of Nortel MICs and a BCM 3.5.
all networked via PRI.
When we place calls across the network the call shows up at the destination with an alpha ID that shows the name of the system and the station name on the receiving parties display.
We added a BCM 3.6 and I noticed it now has a private OLI field.
Obviously, when I enter the 4 digit station number in the field, this is what shows up on the receiving parties display on a network call. But ONLY these four digits.
When I remove the digits from the Private OLI field, i get no caller ID at the receiving parties phone.
I really want the full alpha display of the system and the station name across the network.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get this back on the 3.6?
I can't believe they would Nortel would abandon this feature if even the MICs have it.
