How or where can I get what features were added when upgrading from 3.5 to 3.7 software ?

There are not really that much new features... biggest step is Digital Mobilty that is completly changed... The system is more stable and most good things that happen are bugfixes and that new IP-Phone Types are working now... Anyways... as far as I noticed its not possible anymore to upgrade from 3.5 to 3.7 ....

What kind of system do you have?

cheers,

subx

Yes you can still upgrade to 3.7, you just need to set the Clock on the PC your putting the upgrade CD in to a date before Jan 1 2007. I personlly though 3.7 had to many Bugs and other problems, so I only upgraded my 60 BCM's to 3.6 and they have been there for 2 years and a stable and I haven't had any problems other then Bad CAP's in the BFT.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Yes you can change the clock but as far as i know you cant generate a keycode anymore in KRS for this upgrade...

cheers,

So what your saying is unless you have already upgraded to 3.7, Nortel is saying your SOL and buy a new system? Not a very good way to get companys to buy your product. I guess you could buy a HD with 3.7 on it and program it for your system. I have seen some on Ebay for sale.

You have to be able to generate a key code to go from 3.0 or 3.5 to 3.6 or 3.7. Otherwise there would be no way of
getting to 4.0 without having to buy a new drive or re-image your old one. I did a 3.0 to 3.7 & then 4.0 on Tuesday. Unless Nortel has changed the rules since Tuesday.
I guess it is possible but I doubt it.

I generated a keycode to upgrade from 3.5 or 3.6 to 3.7 less than an hour ago.
