i have a bcm 3.5 2.3a where calls on busy fail to one particular cell number on busy only, you can call it directly, forwards on no answer but fails on busy
it is programmed to go over to a option 11, this option 11 goes over ITG trunk to another switch, this switch has programming to go to that particular cell trunk.
on the bcm its programmed on TIE trunk. D-channelling performed on bcm shows calls just go to reception on the option 11 on busy. when i capture the d-channel on option 11 it shows just calls coming to the cellphone but no reply
what should i look for

lol, My God, could they possibly engineer (and I use the term loosely) a more precarious configuration? Kinda makes a technician just wanna strangle whoever thought that scenario would be a good idea! What a mucking fess!

You have our deepest sympathies but I'm afraid you'll have to jump over to the BCM forum (if in fact it's BCM tech support that you need,) but it sounds to me like the problem is not with the BCM.

Not so fast!!!!
Could be the programmer or the cell phone????
"to one particular cell number"

"it is programmed to go over to a option 11"

What is programmed? "it"

"on the bcm its programmed on TIE trunk"

is this a different "it"? or the same "it" as above? if different "it" then what is this "it"?

It sort of looks like he means somebody is trying to call a cell phone from a BCM out to an Option 11 using it's PRI however if the user is on their cell phone it does not forward to the cell phones voice mail? or what ever the cell phone is programmed to on busy?

Not sure how that would be either systems fault.....I have read this almost everyday and still cant understand it, not much info on the setup.

Had to add some humor sorry!

to be precise, it should have been written as one cell Network.for any other cell network the busy works perfectly fine on busy treatment

the concerned cell network goes over a separate pool from the rest which shares it with the tie line

if you ring the ext on no answer forwards to the cell network and if you make the first call it will go to the option 11 but if you make the 2nd call just transfers to the operator on option 11. This is instant so you see d-ch messaging appear on the bcm monitor
