I am trying to upgrade a BCM 3.0 to 3.6 via the 2 CDs from Nortel. I can connect to the BCM fine, run the .bat file,"uploading system check" and nothing. The BCM returns to the Upgrade Wizard Main Screen. I've rebooted, maybe I need a patch?

by the bat file - do you mean the setup executable?

Does the upgrade CD support the upgrade from your version of 3.0?

Are you connected via the LAN 1 port? All firewall/antivirus software disabled? One of my coworkers had this problem a while back - couldn't get a 3.7 upgrade to work on his laptop, brought mine out and it worked fine.

In short, I'd try a different PC before you pull too much hair out.

I got the upgrade to start and everytime it states that I don't have enough space on my E: I am unsure what files on E I can delete/remove without disrupting anything. I am probably going to have to open a ticket with Nortel. Anyone know what is safe to remove from the E:?

Anything in the ftproot folder, any old archlog jobs, or the CDR FTP folder is OK to go. I believe you only need about 200MB free to do the upgrade. How much free space do you have?

I deleted files from the ftp root folder which freed up enough space for the upgrade to run. Thank you for the help, I really appreciate it.
