BCM 200

After login i go into services then telephony services and it gives me back up restore options. Its a bcm 200 3.6 sw. Its a used system. I have tried to restore but still back up restore comes up on telephony services.Any ideas??

What version of java are u using?

Is the system fully patched?

Have u tried rebooting?

I tried rebooting , did not work.
java= I know i have it because it shows up on the screen when it starts up but I dont know the version.
Also how do you look up patches on the bcm?

To find your java version go to control panel on pc and there is an icon for java, double click then click about button. Look at version should be something like 1.5.0.

You can do Backup/Restore from the 1st Menu, there is a Backup/Restore Menu, does that one work?

I did a back up & restore and still when i hit telephony services it says back up & restore only. I am now going to try to download java 1.5 and see if that works. I'll let you all know. THANKS

upgrade of java did not work. I'm thinking it might be msc card.

If you can do a Backup/Restore, then I doubt it is the MSC.

I think you need Java 1.4 or below. It's not an upgrade of Java but a downgrade. Java Ver is the only thing I have ever seen that causes this.

Java 1.5 works as that's what I use.
