Hi all,

I tried to run a universal profile on a MSC, ever since i have no communication and the HDD and i have three red lights flash on the front of the system.

is the HDD knackered?

I've never seen a HD do that.

which LED's are red?

They flash but not at the sametime, the power first, then fan followed by the temp light. the status light isnt lit either. Never seen it but it happens after i tried to run a universal profile, very strange.

Is this by any chance a BCM 1000, I did have that once.

Sounds like something corrupted. The flashing lights sound like the SSM lost communication with the MSC.

If you connect a monitor to the system and reboot it, do you get any bios/hdd messages? Worst case you'd probably just need to reimage the hard drive and start over, unless the MSC got toasted during the initialization.

Can you get in though the serial port?
