Hi

I have a BCM rls 3.6, Until June 2008 the Call Center Reporting was working (The customer closed the call center service), Now I reinstalled the RCC software y a new pc windows XP and tried to download data from BCM, the RCC download window shows:

- Percentage Complete: 100%
-Calls Extracted from received data: 8 (More o less)
- Total call Center calls in the database: 32501

When I go to historical report I can only select dates before June 2008.

I did the following procedure that I found here in tek-tips:

1) Go to "Services" and stop the MySQL service
2) Open Windows Explorer and navigate to MySQL (it could be on the root or within Program Files depending on the version of RCC installed)
3) Expand until you see a folder called CCRDB. This is the working RCC Database. Its in the "bin" or "data" folder. You can delete it, or cut/paste it somewhere else if you want to import some of the data back in.
4) Still in Windows Explorer, navigate to Program Files>Nortel Networks>Reporting for Contact Center (again, this may be different depending upon version)
5) Expand until you see a folder named CCRDB
6) Right-click the folder and choose "Copy"
7) Return to MySQL and "Paste" into where the previous CCRDB was.
8) Go to "Services" and start MySQL and then restart the service call RCC Launcher.
9) Bring up RCC in Internet Explorer. The login will be defaulted to 0000 and you will be forced to change it.
Go to Connection page and set your connection. The bottom of the page should provide an area to allow you to set the date you wish to begin pulling records off the BCM.

But still I only can see reports before June 2008.

I the RCC logs I have the following error:

-----------------------------------------
Method: checkDbConn.. Exception - 13/05/2013, 18:07:41
Number: -2147467259
Desc: [MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10048)
Further Desc: Error in checkDbConn - No DSN or MySQL service down
-----------------------------------------

Please, Any Ideas?

Yeah,
The RCC application is terrible especially the older versions. I have found that they get to a certain size and then just freeze up constantly and crash.
In the past I have left customers with server containing the historical reports (and disable the RCC Launcher service) and create a new server with a fresh database with the new historical reports.

Instead of copying the CCRDB folder, you need to copy and paste EVERY file within the bin folder and not just the CCRDB folder. You have probably done the right thing but i would recommend doing the above

Thanks for your answer Bucky101, If I want to install a second server, First I download RCC data in the old server then I disable the RCC Launcher service in the old server and Install the RCC in the new server? If so, The new server will download rcc data from the moment I disabled the rcc Launcher in the old server?
