BCM 2.5 Lost Supervisor Password

Is there any way to reset a lost BCM2.5 password from either a LAN connection or the serial port.Thanks

what did u loose? ee_admin or supervisor password?

I tried ee_admin with the PlsChgMe! as the password, it must have been changed, or maybe on 2.5 it was different. Any ideas ? Thanks

PlsChgMe! comes with 3.0 ... try eedge for ee_admin and visor for supervisor...that should work........

Just tried these password suggestions, looks like they both don't work, both must have been changed. Are there any other work-arounds do you think ?

hmm... is it a running system or spare? if u DONT have something to loose u can try to change this passwords using VNC... but u should never ever try that if its a running system !!!!

This is a bench model that I would use for testing, so I really can do what I want with it. Do you have the procedure for changing the p/w by VNC ?

In my previous posts I have described the problem that I am having.... the password for Supervisor and ee_admin is lost, and I cannot get logged into my v2.5 BCM. It is a testbed machine so I can do really whatever I need with it. Someone suggested resetting the password via VNC, but when you run VNC to the IP address of the BCM, it asks for a password. Does anybody know the default 2.5 VNC password or the process to login via VNC to change/default the system

VNC means View NOT!! Change......that being said...use at your own risk because it can leave your system UNUSEABLE! because it is embedded NT. The password is: TeirGR8
