bcm 1000 wan connection

I have a BCM1000 3.6 that has a T1 internet connection. I set up the Ip address, subnet mask, next hop router and DNS. My ip phones work from the internet and I can access the BCM unified manager from the internet. But I cannot acces the internet through the BCM lan port. DHCP is working. Is there something I'm missing? I'm not a network guy, just a phone guy. Thanks for any help!

The BCM LAN ports are not used to access the internet, only to manage the BCM and to put on customer network to be managed on there LAN. Hope this helps Im not sure Im understanding your question.

On our BCM it was setup to be used as our internet gateway/ DHCP router before it crashed. We used to access the internet through the BCM. I rebuilt it but can't get the internet out to work on it. I think I'm missing something about routing from the lan card to the wan port?? Thanks again for any help!!
