Hi, I just recently upgraded a BCM 1000 to release 4.0. After this upgrade the voice mail hangs up everyday. I have to do a reboot everyday for the voice mail to start working again. Can anyone shed some light?
On the bcm 1000's, bcm's 3.0 and 3.5. There was a problem with the base function tray. You need to remove the BFT and see if it has green capacitors. if it does then you have to get a hold of nortel for a replacement.
sounds like just a coincidence after the upgrade. Im suprised it lasted this long.
Actually the 1000's do not have BFT's. They had issues with the Portway motherboards and the 3.6 and some 3.7 BCM400 machines had the issues with the BFT.
