We just took over a customer who has several BCM's (4 BCM50's, 3 BCM200's, 2 BCM400's, and 1 BCM1000)

They want to network these all together. I have done that before and know what I need to make that happen. My only question is with the BCM 1000 it is a release 2.0.

Can I use the same keycodes for the VoIP trunks and the MDCN/Qsig as the 400's? Are BCM1000 keycodes still available?

The customer doesn't want to pay for an upgradet to 3.6/3.7 or 4.0.

Am I wrong or the BCM 1000 doesn't exist? If you upgrade a system you don't need to buy new keycodes, you use the old ones.

BCM 1000 is discontinued but there are a lot of them out there. I was just curious if a BCM 1000 with software 2.5 can be networked with the BCM50 and BCM200-BCM400 running software 3.0, 3.5, 3.6, and 3.7.

None of these sites have the keycodes required to network. I will have to get them from Nortel. I was curious of I can still get them for the BCM1000 2.5.

I've heard that you can not network the BCM1000 2.5 with the BCM50.

I would think if you use the h.323 trunks it should work. Look into the Docs of the 1000 and look at the networking. And the keycodes should work too.
