BCM 1000 IP Issue

Hello All, I installed a BCM 1000 3.7 today and when I changed the IP address from 10.10.10.1 to a valid IP off their network witch was 10.1.10.x it would shut down the internet and I could unplug the BCM from the switch and the users could access the internet again this happen on every IP address that I assigned to the BCM any help would be great.

check if you DHCP is enabled on the BCM,might be that users are getting IP address on your BCM and makes that their default gateway

I have seen DHCP on the BCM cause such a problem.

I know what you guys are saying but that's the first thing that I checked DHCP is disabled...
