I have a BCM 1000 with 16 VM liscenses. I also have a 16DSN board. Does this mean I can only have 16 extensions or connected phones?

I'm not completely following you, but Vmail boxes are keycoded and Active DNs are hardware related. So, if you only have a 16 port module, usually a DSM16. You can only add 16 telephones.

That was the answer I was looking for. Dumb question, I know.

Also, with the 16DSM I should have extension 221 - 237. However, 237 on the block is not powering the phone. Am I missing something.

You would actually have 221-236.
221,222,223,224,225,226,227,228
229,230,231,232,233,234,235,236

Thanks, that would be the problem. I did not do the math. I should have asked the second question first. 237 would be number 17
