This is my 'lab' BCM - US
There is nothing else on it.
the DTM would not come online in this configuration - the resource says 'unequipped'

Once i flipped the DIP switch settings (DTM as 7, 4p as bus5) it came right back up

working settings:
DTM - on on on off on off
4p trk - on on on on off off

the 4p clid trk card works on both buses, whereas the dtm doesnt seem to like 5

Is there a question? If not the only thing I would have done differently is I would have put the 4P on bus 6.

thanks acewarlock ... -
i just couldnt get that combination to work - i wanted to know if there is any known problem with that combination - while nortel is getting back to me

You can put a local loop on the DTM to fool it into showing as enabled. From experience I have found the analog modules will show as enabled even without having equipment connected on them. This goes for ASM, CTM, and GATM modules. The digital modules need to have equipment connected before they will show as enabled, but you can fool the DTM by installing a local loop plug into it.

thanks BCM programmer - thats interesting - i'll give it a try.
i was assuming you'll get a RED alarm without signal
