I have never run a Call center on a BCM and my company want to put Basic call Center on a BCM 1000 3.6 with Cum Patch 3. Does anyone know if there any problems running this on a BCM 1000 and do I need any more patches other then Cum patch 3?

How easy is the programming for call center?

I've been doing some research and am I right that I will need seprate Keycodes for Basic Call center, Agents and call reporting? Thats 3 keycodes?

No - on any BCM below release 4.0, you buy Call Center as a package. If you want basic call center, that gives you two skillsets and 10 active agents. You can add more active agents if you need to have more than 10 people logged in at once. Reporting is a separate piece for basic call center, but is included with professional.

It's fairly straightforward to set up. Just make sure your CDN is a B1 DN and not a B2 DN. Load any voicemail patches that came out after CP3.

Now, if your BCM is at release 4.0, you need to buy Call Center stuff separately. You buy the call center keycode itself, then the keycode for the number of skillsets you need, then the correct number of agents, and to top it off, reporting. But for you, just buy basic call center and you're good to go.

One supplier is telling me I need to buy Call Center PRO to get Reporting, That I can't get it on Basic.

Tell them to look in their price books for NTKC0122 - that's the reporting for call center auth code. They're probably trying to make a few more bucks off you, or have no idea what they're talking about.

I was Quoted Call Center basic w/10 agents $1,500 and
Reporting $1,450. does this sound like a good price?

I don't have any price books handy right now, but that sounds about right.
