You shouldn't lose programming going from 2.5 to 3.7, unless you follow the Nortel path of hard drive replacement.
You'd need to upgrade from 2.5 to 3.01, 3.01 to 3.6, then 3.6 to 3.7. The upgrade from 2.5 to 3.01 isn't supported anymore, which is why Nortel came out with the 'replace the hard drive and rebuild voicemail' direction. The 2.5 to 3.01 keycodes might still be available if you get lucky. Depending on how many mailboxes, etc you've got, it might be easiest to replace the hard drive and rebuild the VM.
Its the voice mail i want to save th only reason i need to upgrade it is because the customer needs some major reprogramming unfortunately the version on site is so buggy i cant get anything done, its keeps locking up services while making changes cannot export voice prompts all sorts of issues..
can i image a 3.7 Hard disk stick it in the 1000 and reprogram the voice mail, the telephony at least would be kept would it ?? would i need any keycode if i did that way ?
