BCC email count limitation for an SMTP server

I am looking to use VBScript and CDONTS to automate an email notification process.

Instead of iterating through the list of emails and sending one per address I would like to build up a BCC list, and do it that way.

If there is some known charater, or address limitation I could make it send one email per 10,25,100 etc.

Anyone have experience with this?

hm.. yes the mail server might crash.. or smtp wont send correctly.. even if you loop thru the recordset it might crash, you need to loop thru adds, and try to set a small delay if the server is crashing..
otherwise you simply you use the ; as delimiter between emails in the from field.. BTW I guess CDONTS doesn't have a bcc..<can't remember>
