BC12SP1: racei works only internally

My experience is to ditch sp1 and use sp2 as a minimum
for customer installations.
Several hundred patches and fixes from sp1-2 should cover
alot of faults .
(look at the slogan list for sp2)
Another thing is that the ELU32 firmware VOIPF R2D requires SP2.
As for your case ,solved in sp2 with:
100539 CMP False B-answer not sent for individual welcome messages.

a lot of bugfixes in SP2 indeed, syar, did you have problems with the implementation of SP2??
Haven't tried with ESD yet. If that's what you mean .
Im gonna do one tomorrow (With ESD 3.7 bld 05 sp1).
I let you know my experience .
Btw BC11 sp12-sp13 needs ESD with sam3.7 buildt 05 sp1 .
Running Build 03 screwed it all up doing
the finac of the dummy units .
Whole disk went "no access" .

I avoid to use esd for ages,
certainly on BIG systems, I can't have ESD screwing up a 20+ lim system, do we? I use good 'ol trusty winfiol to do the most of my updates (400+ sites).

Well how do you update bc12 sp1 to sp2 when there
is lots of recompiled units .
(FCPLI , FCPCI manually , or new systemdump )
I like ESD (when it works that is) and it's always
nice to now the advanced maitenance so you can manipulate
it with workarounds when it fails ,not having to
start the process all over again.

that's the big point why I don't use ESD (no control...)
Anyway I do exactly the same thing ESD does (following the script). I yet have to try ESD 3.7sp1 but I dont feel the urge to do this very soon.

1282 - ESD names configuration file as xxx.CFG.CFG, .INI)
1283 - ESD - System Revision updated with CAPII even if update fails.
1285 - ESD - Incorrect display while transferring program units.
1320 - ESD does not cope with a new response to CNBIP
My point is : this program will never be able to cope with ALL the possible failiures that are bound with loading servicepacks...
