Hi,

I have our in house test system, open license, and want to start DECT function.

I have installed 1 x ELU31 and wired out to the frame. I have installed TSR 901 1234 cable between the sync Rx and Tx on the same board. I have set SARI to 12345678. I have initiated CXCFI and CXRFI.

I have cabled RJ45 cable from base station BS330 (RJ45 blue pair and green pair) to the ELU31 cable (Krone block Blue pair and Orange pair)

However the base station does not start, it cycles through the 3 colour LCD and the following are the printouts I receive from Md110.

Code:
<CXRFP:FPI=1,RPN=ALL;

CORDLESS EXTENSION RADIO FIXED PART DATA

FPI =      1    BPOS = 001-1-60

RPN   OPERATING STATE   BLOCKING STATE
1     NOT RESPONDING    UNKNOWN
END

<CXCFP:fpi=all;
CORDLESS EXTENSION COMMON FIXED PART DATA
SARI = 12345678

FPI BPOS PARI RFP TRM DELAY >
     1  001-1-60  12345E2E   1     0         0  >

< SYNCH ROLE SYNCH INFO MODE ACDM COMP
< NOT READY        01010       NORM  NO       0

END

Can anyone please help? It's the first I have instaled DECT :eek:)

does you test system has external lines?

if not, your LSU clock is not good enough for the ELU31.

2 solutions, swap you LSU for a "trained" one.
or put external line on your system. note that the LSU clock training is a slow process and can take several days.

if you have external lines (and you sync on them),
the sync cable on the ELU31 is probably incorrect.

Daddy

Cheers Daddy,

The system has an E1 circuit connected to BT and takes sync from that. Do you know which way to use sync cable for a 1 card system?

you have to make one yourself (like I did) will post layout later...

Have You ELU 31/1 or ELU 31/2?

From Alex:
A system with only one ELU31/1 board still requires a RING cable (TSR 901 1233/2300) running from the TX port to the RX port on the same board.

A system with only one ELU31/2 board still requires a RING cable (TSR 901 1234/2300) running from the TX port to the RX port on the same board

If anything can go wrong, it will.

also take another SARI number, I have had bad expierences with 12345678, take something in the range ABxxxxxx.

I am using a ELU31/1 but with a 901 1234 cable.....

I don't have the tools or pieces to make my own cable, so I may have to order the 901 1233 cable from supplier.

Thanks for all your help so far, very kind :eek:)

I will also change the SARI number
