BC10 hang group music

Hi,


This is my first time in the forum, but I have a problem with MD110 BC10.

I need to have several welcome announcements, but without using several ACD groups.

I have tried with hanging groups which are diverted to an unique ACD group, but as soon as the call came to the hunging group it is diverted son you are not able to listen to the welcome message.

Any idea?

First do you have any licence for ACD groups with BC10 a number of items require licence. next what sort of Auto attentant (voice mail) do you have. as you could set up hunt groups and have the calls go there. I use two with diferent messages if"0" dialed they show a diferent hunt group number so the operator knows which way to answer them. hope this will help

Welcome/queue/q-repeat - messages are only played when you ENTER a group, so you can never have announcement on empty groups. what you must do is program an analog extension or a digital extension (with ITYPE=0) and put it in the group hunting, that way you can have welcome announcement

Ok Thanks a lot for your help.

The problem is that I want that the call goes later to an ACD group. I programmed an extension in the group hunting and set it diverted to that ACD group with no welcome announcement.

When the call cames, no message is heard because the call is transfered to the ACD group as soon as it reaches the extension.

How I would do it would be to NUTRI: a DDI number to a number in ny Voice Mail, not allow a transfer, so that it goes to message then at the end of the message "goto" the ACD group then if you still need a message do what Whosrdaddy suggests.
I guess it depens on your voice mail system if you have one or do you use the messageing in the MD.
