I just started receiving these error messages when do a safety backup using MD Disk Tool on a BC 11 system. I have another system that I use the same client for and have not received the errors so I dont feel it is the MD Disk application. Any thoughts on how to proceed would be a great help.

The error message is

Invalid Checksum: \REL1\P\CMP.P
Thanks

Is this corruption only in the REL volume or the whole system. Check with FTCSI:UNIT=CMP,LIM=x; If the checksum seems to be OK, dump again (both sides). Then run MDDT. If the checksum is faulty in the system, you need to take another type of action.

The checksum test came back ok> Did the dump and still having the same error on MDDT. I am going to try to load it to a PC local at the site and see if possibly the WAN is the issue. Is there another option available to capture this information that anyone could recommend.

if you have ethernet access to niu try FTP trough total commander to download REL
