I have a subnetted network with multiple routers how can I get computers from the subnetted networks to be able to use the instant internet box as their internet access point?
Each PC has it's own router as the default gateway, each router points toward the instant internet as it's default route I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
Oops - ok Maybe subnetted is the wrong term network 1 has ip 1.2.3.0 network 2 has ip 1.2.4.0 network 3 has ip 1.2.5.0
The baybox is at 1.2.3.254. In addition to the baybox at 1.2.3 is a router 1.2.3.253 which connects to 1.2.4.0 and 1.2.5.0. through the second interface.
In network 1.2.4 there is a router 1.2.4.254 which is routed to 1.2.3 through the second interface and in network 1.2.5 there is a router 1.2.5.254 which is routed to 1.2.3.254 through the second interface.
So the router at 1.2.3.254 is aware of networks 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 but not necessarrily of the bay box.(hasn't been implemented in the config of the router.
If I make the ip of the baybox the default gateway with in the other networks how do I find my way back to the bay box?
